About Us

Rogue Van Company was motivated by a common dream, life on the road and the pursuit of freedom. Over the years, we've gathered our skills, honed our designs, and strived to create beautiful camper vans to not only support the free spirit, but to also stand the test of time. We love design and spend countless hours creating timeless templates that support your life on the road and all of its nuances, from ergonomics to aesthetics and maintenance. Originally from Portland, Oregon, we relocated to Pacific Beach, San Diego in January of 2019. We encourage anyone interested in having a van built or seeing what we currently have made to set up an appointment and visit us!
Having grown up in Mississippi, Kowboy brings his own manner of Southern charm to RVC. Kowboy came to San Diego for the Navy over 12 years ago and has lived here periodically in between his travels near and far, including Germany and India. Never one to obey the conventions of society, Kowboy has made his own path which has included building out vans and remodeling homes as an avid tinkerer, builder, fabricator and mechanic.
Our resident nomad, Arnaud, originally hails from Amsterdam, Netherlands. Arnaud is a frequent traveler, building out his first bus at the age of 21, having spent time in 42 countries so far, living the van life in Australia and renovating a bus into a traveling hostel in (@thebustel) in Costa Rica. Always exploring, experimenting, and experiencing, Arnaud has temporarily settled in California for almost two years now.
